Anders, a 12-year-old boy with reduced mobility, explores the theme of smart homes, thinking about his own future. As part of his investigations, he visits Tom who has in-built smart technology in his flat. Anders wants to learn how technology may contribute to independent living. Smart home technology makes independent living possible for Tom, and Anders hopes that he, too, can experience this in the future. The viewer gets a glimpse into the lives, dreams and playfulness of both of them.
